1. How to Enter. No purchase or other consideration is necessary to enter or win. Your chances of winning will not be increased by making a purchase of any of the Ivy Funds or any other product or service available through Waddell & Reed or by meeting individually with a Waddell & Reed financial advisor. Participants can enter by completing and submitting the official entry form for the Contest that can be found at www.ivyinvestments.com/about/skc. The Contest begins at 3:00pm on Friday, August 17, 2018, and ends at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 ("Entry Period"). During the Entry Period, there is only one (1) way to enter. No other method(s) of entry will be accepted. The clock of the Sponsor will be the official time keeper for this Contest. All information and files submitted to enter will become property of Sponsor and used as provided in the Ivy Distributors, Inc. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. To enter the Contest, you must: (a) complete the official entry form in its entirety; and (b) meet all submission requirements. By submitting your completed entry form as directed, you will receive one (1) entry in the Contest.
2. Objective.Follow the Ivy Investments Twitter account and click the link to the website ( www.ivyinvestments.com/about/skc) to enter the Contest.
3. Eligibility. The Contest is open to legal residents of Kansas and Missouri who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. The promotion is void outside of a seventy-five (75) mile radius of Children’s Mercy Park (1 Sporting Way, Kansas City, KS 66111) and where prohibited (the "Territory"). Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child and sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of Sporting Kansas City (the "Club"), Ivy Distributors, Inc., Major League Soccer, L.L.C. ("MLS") and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the Contest are not eligible to participate or win a Prize. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Void outside Territory, and where prohibited or restricted by law, rule or regulation. See additional conditions to eligibility in “Prizes” section below.
4. Sponsor. The Contest is sponsored by Ivy Distributors, Inc. and Waddell & Reed, Inc. (collectively, the "Sponsor"). Sponsor’s headquarters is located at 6300 Lamar Ave., Overland Park, KS 66202. Employees, officers, directors, agents of Sponsor and/or affiliated companies and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
5. Restrictions.. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Duplicate entries are not permitted. Only one person per household can win a Prize in the Contest.
6. Odds of Winning. The odds of winning a Prize depend upon the number of participants. Significant entries are anticipated, but it is impossible to predict with any degree of certainty the number of entries that will actually be received or the odds of winning. Only six (6) winners will win regardless of the number of entries received.
7. Official Rules. By entering the Contest, each entrant accepts and agrees to be unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor (defined below).
8. Prizes. A total of six (6) Prizes are available to be awarded (each, a "Prize"). Six (6) winners who will be randomly selected at the conclusion of the Entry Period will each receive one (1) 2018 Sporting Kansas City Military Kit (jersey) with an Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of $100. . Each winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with participating in the Contest and/or accepting a Prize that are not specified herein as being provided by the Sponsor, including but not limited to lodging accommodations, any transportation costs, luggage fees, meals, gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of each winner. All Prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
9. Notification of Winners.
   Each potential winner must continue to comply with the Official Rules. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Each winner will be notified by a fulltime employee of Sponsor in a manner selected by Sponsor. In the event that any winner does not accept a Prize, it will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner may be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries. Each winner may be required to submit his/her valid identification to Sponsor. A disqualification will result, the Prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner may be randomly selected from among all remaining eligible entries if all required documents are not properly executed and returned within the specified period of time. Refusal or return of such documents as non-deliverable or winner’s noncompliance with these Official Rules will also result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting, may cause an alternate winner to be selected from among all remaining eligible entries.
10. Information on Official Entry Forms and Consent to Contact.All entries become the property of the Sponsor upon receipt. The Sponsor reserves the right to retain and use information supplied by entrants and all entrants consent to being contacted by a Waddell & Reed financial advisor. The Sponsor may use such information to contact entrants regarding the products and services available through the firm. However, entrants are under no obligation to make any purchase or schedule any appointment with a Waddell & Reed financial advisor, and none of these things will increase your odds of winning the sweepstakes. Ivy Funds are available through Waddell & Reed financial advisors and other select financial intermediaries. All information obtained from entrants will be subject to Ivy Investments privacy policy which can be found on the Ivy Investments website (http://www.ivyinvestments.com).
11. Taxes. All entries become the property of the Sponsor upon receipt. The Sponsor reserves the right to retain and use information supplied by entrants and all entrants consent to being contacted by a Waddell & Reed financial advisor. The Sponsor may use such information to contact entrants regarding the products and services available through the firm. However, entrants are under no obligation to make any purchase or schedule any appointment with a Waddell & Reed financial advisor, and none of these things will increase your odds of winning the sweepstakes. Ivy Funds are available through Waddell & Reed financial advisors and other select financial intermediaries. All information obtained from entrants will be subject to Ivy Investments privacy policy which can be found on the Ivy Investments® website (http://www.ivyinvestments.com).
12. Limitation of Liability. The winners will be solely responsible for any risk or loss associated with the Prizes and for all costs and expenses associated with claiming and owning the Prizes. The winners will be required to sign certain legal documents, including, but not limited to, a release supplied by the Sponsor. The Sponsor, their affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any damages sustained by the winners or caused by the winners relating to their participation in the promotion, including, but not limited to, claims of property damage or personal injury. The winners accept their Prizes "as is" without any warranties or guarantees of any kind whatsoever, except as may be otherwise required by applicable law. Participation in the Contest is at the sole risk of each participant. Neither the Sponsor, nor any other person or entity involved in creating, producing or sponsoring the Contest will be liable to any participant for any damages associated with participating in the Contest, including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and whether or not the Sponsor has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The forgoing limitation of liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by the law in the applicable jurisdiction.
13. Publicity. The winners agree to allow the Sponsor to use their names and/or images in promotional materials without additional compensation or remuneration and agree to pose for photographs and sign such documents as are reasonably requested by the Sponsor to further authorize its use of the winners’ names and/or images.
14. Amendment or Cancellation. The Official Rules are subject to change in the discretion of the Sponsor. Alterations or changes to the Official Rules by entrants are not permitted or binding. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Contest in the event a technical disruption, intentional tampering or act of God impairs its ability to ensure the fairness of the promotion. The Sponsor shall not be liable in the event of such a cancellation.
15. Governing Law and Venue. These Official Rules and the conduct of the Contest shall be governed by Kansas law. Any claim related to this promotion must be brought in Johnson County, Kansas District Court.
16. Additional Terms. The Prizes will be awarded only to the verified winners and are non-transferable and non-assignable. The Prizes may only be disclaimed in writing acceptable to and delivered to the Sponsor. No substitution of Prizes is permitted and the Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or any other consideration. The Sponsor reserves the right to revoke an award of any Prize at any time it determines that the Prize was awarded as a result of fraudulent conduct or tampering. In such case, the declared winner agrees to disclaim any right to the Prize and return it to the Sponsor at his or her sole expense and liability. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
