Dan Hanson is Chief Investment Officer of Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc. and the company’s asset manager, Ivy Investment Management Company. He is responsible for leading the company’s investment management division.
Mr. Hanson joined the company in June 2019 and has more than 25 years of investment and leadership experience. Prior to joining the company, he served as Portfolio Manager and Managing Director, Office of the CIO with BlackRock from 2003 to 2013, as Partner, Head of U.S. Equities and Co-Chair of the Investment Strategy Committee for Jarislowsky Fraser Global Investment Management from 2013 to 2018 and most recently as Head of Impact Investing for JANA Partners LLC.
Mr. Hanson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and French from Middlebury College, and earned an MBA, Accounting and Analytic Finance, from The University of Chicago. He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute.

analyst. He assumed international analyst responsibilities in
2000, specializing in foreign currencies and international
economics. He was appointed assistant vice president and
international economist in 2007 and appointed vice president
and global economist in 2010. He was appointed senior vice
president in 2015.
Mr. Hamilton graduated from Rockhurst College in 1996 with a
BSBA in Finance/Economics. He earned an MBA in
Finance/Management from Rockhurst College in 1999.

John Bichelmeyer is co-portfolio manager of Ivy Accumulative Fund, serving as co-portfolio manager since 2018. He had been portfolio manager of the former Ivy Micro Cap Growth Fund and Ivy VIP Micro Cap Growth from 2015 to 2018.
Mr. Bichelmeyer joined the organization in 2015 as vice president and portfolio manager. He was appointed senior vice president in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, he was affiliated with Kornitzer Capital Management (KCM) as an equity analyst and portfolio manager from 2005 to 2015. Prior to joining KCM, he was an equity analyst and portfolio manager with Trilogy Global Advisors (formerly BPI Global Asset Management) in Orlando, FL.
Mr. Bichelmeyer graduated from Creighton University in 1997 with a BSBA in Finance.

Matthew Norris is portfolio manager of the large cap value product suite of mutual funds and institutional accounts. He has been portfolio manager of the product suite since 2003.
Mr. Norris joined the organization in 2003 as senior vice president and portfolio manager. He served as Director of Equity Research from 2005 to 2010. He was portfolio manager of Ivy Small Cap Value Fund and Ivy VIP Small Cap Value from 2010 to 2011.
Mr. Norris had been affiliated with AdvantusCapital Management, Inc. in St. Paul, MN from 1997 to 2003. He joined Advantusas an equity analyst and was appointed a large cap value portfolio manager in 2000. Prior to joining Advantus, he was an equity analyst and portfolio manager for Norwest Investment Management, Inc. from 1994 to 1997.
Mr. Norris received a BS in Cellular Biology in 1986 from the University of Kansas. He earned an MBA from the University of Nebraska in 1992.
Mr. Norris is a CFA® charterholder. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Kansas City. He serves as a member of the Finance Advisory Board for the University of Kansas School of Business.
